Calling for participants! Research project using LEGO® Serious Play® to overcome challenges in embedding EDI in management practice

The University of Bedfordshire has received a grant from the Imagination Lab is Foundation to find out how effective LEGO® Serious Play® in offering an alternative approach to training and development. LSP is both serious and playful – participants build Lego models in response to questions about their current work situations and dilemmas, but in a way that is playful and non-confrontative. The process provides opportunities to ‘surface’ difficult and sometimes controversial issues, but in a way that allows them to be heard and discussed.

We would like to work with organisations that are interested in taking their EDI agenda forward. We would offer to run LSP workshops with groups of up to 30 staff. Our research grant would fund the workshops but what we ask in return is the opportunity to get feedback from participants about how they experienced the workshops and how they compare to other forms of EDI training.
